Job Title:

Portfolio Manager, Operational Efficiency - Remote

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to help McAfee optimize its internal processes and systems, enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement. The manager will own the operational efficiency portfolio, which includes working with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate, document and support the implementation and optimization of process improvements. This includes managing the roadmap and driving prioritization decisions. This role will also include program management support for ad hoc strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate multiple stakeholder relationships across various levels of the organization while being a steward of the portfolio, ensuring traceability to the company’s strategic ambitions.

This is a remote position based in the United States or Canada. We are only considering candidates based in the United States or Canada and are not offering relocation at this time.

About the role:

• Investigate and understand the current state of internal processes/issues through stakeholder interviews, documentation review, customer feedback, etc.

• Diagnose the root cause of issues and develop data driven recommendations

• Lead cross functional teams in the successful execution of solutions

• Provide timely and accurate updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and visibility of the portfolio metrics

• Drive pivots, trade-offs, and decisions across the portfolio by providing leadership with options, data, recommendations, and principles behind the decision-making process

• Maintain a pulse on portfolio risk factors, create interventions, and escalate as needed

• Implement frictionless portfolio framework best practices that are repeatable and embody continuous high-quality improvements

About you:

• Eight or more years of portfolio and program management expertise delivering on large-scale portfolios

• Deep knowledge and related work experience on process optimization/engineering

• Project/ Management certification (PMP or PgMP)

• Intermediate experience in standard project management and collaboration tools (for example, ClickUp, Smartsheet, Asana, JIRA, Monday)

• Possess excellent prioritization, resource planning, and management skills as well as proven ability in the identification, assessment, and contingency planning and managing of risk factors

• Strategic planning skills: strong strategic thinker, ability to search for insights, and shepherd a strategic idea

• Proven competency to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships across all departments

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to disseminate information to all altitudes of the organization
