McAfee, Inc. Cloud Tech Lead Engineer - Remote in Bangalore, India
Role Overview:
As a Cloud Tech Lead Engineer, you will be the technical lead to mentor the Cloud Engineering and Operations team at McAfee India and be a part of Technology Services- Infrastructure and Information Security Enablement organization reporting to the Director, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering and Operations.
This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
About the role:
You will support the definition of cloud operational responsibilities, including operational health, lifecycle management, capacity management and cost optimization, image and patch management, and availability and continuity.
You will be responsible for the implementation and automation of cloud operational responsibilities, including maintaining a 24x7 model.
You will monitor and react to incidents, including partnering with application owners, product engineers, and cloud service providers where necessary, as well as partnering with the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team to ensure continuity from build to run operations.
About You:
You should have 10 to 14 years of hands-on development and architecture experience in AWS, Terraform (IaC), Github action pipelines, cloud networking, and security.
You should have experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, which is preferred.
You should have experience with multi-cloud environments, including AWS, as well as knowledge of Azure or GCP.
You should have an understanding of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
You should possess both mentorship and leadership skills to guide and inspire your teams towards success.
